The driving force

The Driving Force Behind Unrivaled Engineering

At the heart of unrivaled engineering lies a simple yet powerful motivation: the desire to solve common problems with engine accessories. My journey began with Ford V8 engines, and much of my initial work has been inspired by these models. This is my comfort zone, and I have extensive knowledge about them.

My first creation, the low-mount alternator bracket, was born out of necessity and feedback from customers facing various challenges. Their input has fueled my imagination, leading me to explore innovative new concepts for engine accessory systems. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that my work helps enthusiasts address long-standing issues with their cherished vehicles.

The design process can be quite daunting initially. I prefer a traditional approach, starting with simple cardboard cutouts and measuring everything by hand. Once I have a solid concept, I hand it over to my CAD engineer, who transforms my ideas into a digital format. After that, I 3D print the prototypes and diligently test and refine the CAD designs until they're perfected.

Looking ahead to 2025, I plan to branch out into different engine types. However, I am committed to ensuring that my current projects receive the attention they deserve. I believe it’s crucial to take my time and ensure that my parts work flawlessly before moving on to the next design. This focus allows me to keep distractions at bay and maintain a high standard of quality.

Daily operations can be distracting, especially when I'm deep in thought about specific designs. The challenge of coordinating multiple moving parts to work together seamlessly sometimes keeps me awake at night, resulting in late-night brainstorming sessions. I am grateful for my partner, Katy, who has joined me full-time at Unrivaled. She manages the daily operations, allowing me to concentrate on new designs and prototypes.

I am currently focused on completing my track serpentine system for Ford Cleveland and Windsor engines, featuring a low-mount SD7 A/C pump and a clean, low-power steering setup. I will also offer various styles and colors for the 6PK serpentine pulleys. After that, my attention will shift to Holden 308 and Chevy 350 engines, starting with parts requested for the Holden .

My passion lies in creativity and designing original products, and I am eager to expand into the American market in 2025. This move should yield valuable feedback that will inspire the next wave of ideas and innovations.

2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year, with thrilling new products lined up for Ford enthusiasts, followed by an increasing focus on Holden and Chevy fans later in the year.

Thank you for your support and for taking the time to read this update!

Best regards,

Ed
